From early 2011 onward, the fully automated plant will have an annual production capacity of approximately 75,000 solar receivers. The plant’s capacity will be increased to 140,000 tubes by late 2012. “The new plant,” said Federica Angelantoni CEO of Archimede Solar Energy, “gives us the opportunity to supply large volumes of high temperature receivers for molten salts. Thanks to 600°C temperature reached by our tubes, we are able to offer our superior technology in CSP market”.
